1. About SpecDesk
SpecDesk provides AI-powered phone answering and enquiry-handling solutions for businesses, with a focus on building-product companies.
The website explains the SpecDesk service and allows visitors to:
- learn about SpecDesk
- interact with an AI voice demonstration
- request a personalised demonstration
- enquire about becoming a customer
The website itself does not create a customer service agreement between you and SpecDesk.
2. Website information
We aim to keep information on the website accurate and up to date.
However, website content is provided for general information and demonstration purposes and may change from time to time.
Information displayed on the website should not be treated as technical, legal, financial or professional advice.
3. AI voice demo
The SpecDesk website includes an AI voice demonstration.
The demo may use automated speech recognition, artificial intelligence, text generation, voice generation and telecommunications technology.
AI-generated responses may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected or incorrect.
You should not rely on the demo for:
- emergency assistance
- technical advice
- safety advice
- legal advice
- financial advice
- contractual commitments
- confirmed product specifications
- confirmed prices or lead times
The demo is intended only to demonstrate how an AI receptionist could interact with callers.
4. Harbour Windows & Doors demo
Harbour Windows & Doors is an illustrative example company used in the SpecDesk voice demo and website examples.
It is not a real SpecDesk customer.
Any names, enquiries, projects, prices, people, businesses or circumstances shown in the demonstration are illustrative unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The demo cannot place real orders, provide real quotations or transfer you to employees of Harbour Windows & Doors.
5. Custom demo requests
You may request a custom SpecDesk demonstration using the website.
Submitting a request does not:
- create a contract
- create an obligation to purchase
- guarantee that SpecDesk will provide a demonstration
- guarantee a particular delivery time
- reserve a customer place or pricing offer
We may contact you using the details you provide to discuss or deliver your requested demonstration.
If you provide a business website when requesting a demo, you authorise us to review publicly available information on that website for the limited purpose of understanding your business and preparing or discussing the requested demonstration.
6. Founding Partner Program
Any Founding Partner pricing, availability, setup timeframe or promotional offer shown on the website is subject to availability and confirmation by SpecDesk.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, website content does not itself create a binding service agreement.
Paid SpecDesk services will be subject to a separate agreement, proposal, order form or other written terms agreed between SpecDesk and the customer.
Where a website statement conflicts with a subsequently agreed customer contract, the customer contract will govern.
7. Pricing
Prices shown on the website are expressed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.
Usage charges, third-party telecommunications costs, taxes and other charges may apply depending on the service configuration.
Final pricing and scope will be confirmed before a customer enters into a paid SpecDesk service.
We may change website pricing or offers from time to time, subject to any separate agreement already entered into with an existing customer.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the website, voice demo or other SpecDesk systems:
- for unlawful purposes
- to harass, threaten or abuse others
- to impersonate another person or business
- to attempt unauthorised access to systems or data
- to interfere with website or service operation
- to introduce malware or malicious code
- to conduct automated attacks, scraping or security testing without permission
- to deliberately overload or disrupt the voice demo
- to submit information you do not have the right to provide
You must not attempt to bypass security controls or misuse the AI demo.
We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe the website or demo is being abused.
9. Sensitive information
The public voice demo is not designed to receive sensitive, confidential or high-risk information.
Do not provide:
- passwords
- financial account information
- payment card details
- government identity documents
- confidential business information
- sensitive health information
- other information that should not be disclosed publicly
If you choose to provide such information despite this warning, you do so at your own risk.

Unless otherwise stated, the SpecDesk website, branding, design, written content, graphics, demo interfaces, software concepts and other materials are owned by or licensed to SpecDesk.
You may view and use the website for ordinary business evaluation and informational purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, sell, republish, distribute or commercially exploit substantial parts of the website or SpecDesk materials without permission.

You must have the right to provide any information you submit.
12. Third-party services
SpecDesk relies on third-party technologies and service providers.
These may include AI providers, telecommunications providers, hosting platforms, database services, email providers and other infrastructure.
The availability and performance of SpecDesk demonstrations may therefore depend partly on systems outside our direct control.
Third-party services may also have their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Website availability
We aim to keep the website and demo available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may:
- maintain the website
- update functionality
- change demonstrations
- suspend features
- modify content
- remove or replace functionality
without notice where reasonably necessary.
14. No guarantee of AI output
Artificial intelligence systems are probabilistic and may produce different responses to similar inputs.
We do not guarantee that:
- every call will be interpreted perfectly
- every transcript will be error-free
- every AI response will be accurate
- every caller intent will be classified correctly
- every demonstration will behave identically
Production customer systems may be configured, tested and monitored differently from the public website demonstration.
15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpecDesk is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on:
- AI-generated demo responses
- illustrative website examples
- temporary website unavailability
- third-party service outages
- information clearly presented as demonstration or general information
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
By using the website or submitting information, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review the Privacy Policy.
